Upgrade prompt
The upgrade prompt is what you see when a free-tier action (adding a second asset, or inviting a fourth admin or member) would take a syndicate over one of its limits. The action is always blocked; what differs is how the user is invited to upgrade. Inviting a viewer never raises it, because a viewer takes up no seat.
- A second aircraft. On web, a dialog offers Cancel and Upgrade Now. On iOS and Android, a brief notice shows the limit with no call-to-action button (App Store and Google Play rules forbid it).
- A fourth admin or member. A message at the top of the invite form says the plan is full and lists the waiting invitations. On web it carries Upgrade Now; on iOS and Android it says changes to your subscription cannot be made in the app.
On web, Upgrade Now first asks for an explicit early-start request before opening our checkout page, where Terms agreement is also required. On iOS and Android, the admin’s attempted action triggers a factual action-limit email, subject to the per-syndicate cooldown. The email describes the blocked action and links to the authorised Subscription screen in a browser; it carries no offer and does not start checkout automatically. See web-email-handoff.
