Engine meter
Engine meter is the general term for whatever hour meter an aircraft carries: a Hobbs meter, a tach meter, or any other running-time gauge. Each aircraft sets its own display label.
A syndicate’s engine meter label is a free-text field; typical values are “Hobbs” or “Tacho” but anything is allowed. The label appears on the usage log as the Start and End field captions, and anywhere else an engine-meter value is shown.
Engine meter is one of the time measures Syndik8 can bill on. The others are block time (off-blocks to on-blocks) and airborne time (takeoff to landing). The billed measure picks which one drives the hourly charge.
