Attention chip
Attention chip is a loose name for the admin-only signal about a member’s pilot documents. Nothing chip-shaped renders, and there is no row of fields. What an admin actually sees is split across two screens, and it is the only thing admins ever see about a member’s pilot documents.
On the Members list, a member whose medical needs attention carries a small red medical attention icon at the right-hand end of their row. The icon has no text of its own: its tooltip and screen-reader label read either No medical on file or Medical expired. Those are the only two things it can say, so a member with an in-date medical carries nothing at all, and there is no early-warning stage before a medical lapses. Licences are not represented on the list. Two amber icons share the same slot for unrelated reasons, Direct Debit not set up and Payment KYC pending, so the red one is the only medical signal.
On the member’s detail screen, one tap in, a Pilot documents section spells the rest out as ordinary text: Medical expires {date} (or Medical on file (expiry unknown)), and Licence uploaded {date}. A member with neither reads No pilot documents on file.
Both surfaces are admin-only, and that is enforced on the server rather than just hidden in the app. Neither includes the certificate file, the document title, any link to the file, the medical class, limitations, clinical commentary, examiner identity, or date of birth. Admins cannot tap through to the file; there is no admin route to it at all.
