Reference
Reference pages are information-oriented. Dense, factual, consistent. Safe to be boring. Every reference page follows the same skeleton:
What it is · Who can use it · Where to find it · Fields / options · Behaviour rules · See also.

Pricing in reference
Section titled “Pricing in reference”Syndik8 subscription prices are shown inclusive of VAT: the figure you see is the figure you pay. The pricing reference additionally shows the ex-VAT figure alongside, for the rare VAT-registered syndicate that reclaims it; other subscription pages show the inclusive figure only. Every subscription figure derives from one pricing source, so the rates stay consistent across the docs.
Worked examples of member rates, scheme modifiers, dues, and shortfalls are shown as plain figures with no VAT. Syndik8 does not add VAT to syndicate charges (syndicates set all-in rates and may not be VAT-registered), so VAT applies only to Syndik8’s own subscription prices.
Payments
Section titled “Payments”Payments are live. Connecting a payment account, card payments, Direct Debit collection, mandates, and payment history are documented across the Finance reference pages, the how payments work explanation, and the payments how-tos. A Direct Debit collection shows the payment provider’s name on a member’s bank statement; everywhere else the docs say “the payment provider”, since it may change.
