Registration
A registration, sometimes called a tail number, is an aircraft’s unique identifier. UK registrations start with G- followed by four letters; US registrations start with N followed by digits and letters; every country has its own scheme.
In Syndik8, the registration is a field on an aircraft. It appears on asset cards, on the calendar, on ICS feed entries, and anywhere the aircraft is named.
Every aircraft in this documentation carries a registration beginning G-Q, and none of them is a real aeroplane. (The Apple Watch screenshots are the one exception left: they are captured by hand and still show an older mark.) The CAA issues no UK mark containing the letter Q, because it would clash with the Q-code radio system, and no country is allocated a Q series as its nationality mark either — so a registration of that shape cannot belong to anybody’s aircraft, here or anywhere else.
