Dues
Dues are the periodic charge a member rate (or billing scheme) levies on its members. Each scheme defines a dues amount and a dues interval: every N days, months, or years.
Examples:
- Equity member: £100 every month.
- Member on the renter rate: £100 every year.
- Instructor: £0 (no dues).
Dues post to the ledger as a periodic-dues charge on every interval anniversary, regardless of the calendar month. A quarterly scheme is charged every three months.
Dues are distinct from usage charges: the usage rate is billed per hour flown; dues are billed whether or not the member flies.
