Document type
A document type is the label that says what a Syndik8 document is: ARC, insurance, Certificate of Airworthiness, syndicate agreement, pilot licence, and so on. The type drives how the document is grouped on the library, which owner it can attach to (asset, syndicate, or pilot), and whether it can carry an expiry date.
Types are picked from a fixed dropdown at upload time. The dropdown is filtered to the owner you selected, so you only see asset-level types when uploading against an asset, and so on. Other is the escape hatch for anything outside the named catalogue.
