Changes to the Terms of Service
When Syndik8 changes its Terms of Service, a material change is explained before it applies. You can read the new wording and decide whether to continue using the affected service.
Read a change
Section titled “Read a change”The notice explains what changes, why, when it applies and what you can do. Material changes normally receive at least 14 days’ notice, or 30 days for changes to Syndik8’s fees/payment terms or a material reduction in paid functionality. The Terms of Service explain the limited reasons for changes and the protections for paid subscriptions.
You can read the current Terms in the app or on the website. While a future version is scheduled, the legal page also links to the version it replaces. The text is selectable and readable with assistive technology.
If you do not agree
Section titled “If you do not agree”You can stop using the affected service, cancel renewal and, where the Terms or law provide for it, request a refund. Contact [email protected] if you need help. A Terms update does not block account deletion, data export, leaving a syndicate or cancellation behind a compulsory acceptance screen. Ordinary security, payment and record-retention checks still apply.
Deleting your personal account and cancelling the syndicate’s subscription are separate actions. If you purchased the subscription, review its payment and cancellation arrangements before leaving; see Change your subscription.
Initial acceptance
Section titled “Initial acceptance”Creating an account still requires agreement to the Terms. An account created another way asks for its first acceptance before ordinary use. Account settings and Sign out remain available on the initial-agreement screen. That initial agreement is distinct from being notified about an update; a notice or dismissed banner does not record new acceptance.
A future change outside the permitted variation clause needs a separately assessed, lawful agreement or transition. It is not automatically authorised by an email.
