Pilot licence
A pilot licence is a pilot’s Part-FCL licence document: the credential evidencing the holder’s qualification to fly. Unlike the pilot medical, the licence itself is indefinite and carries no expiry date. Part-FCL licences do not expire, so Syndik8 stores them without one and never generates expiry reminders for a licence. The ratings on a licence (class ratings, instrument ratings, type ratings) do have currency requirements, but Syndik8 does not model ratings, so it does not track their expiry.
The licence is ordinary personal data (not Article 9 special-category data) and stored without an explicit-consent step. It lives on the pilot’s My documents screen, visible only to the pilot. Admins of the pilot’s syndicate(s) see a redacted attention chip showing whether a licence is on file and when it was uploaded.
In the app: Settings → My licences and medicals → Licence. See Pilot documents.
